Simply put, Taylor operates at an elite academic level and brings that rigor and excellence directly into her classroom. She is a master of curriculum design, crafting engaging, rigorous, and thoughtfully sequenced instruction that develops students' analytical thinking, writing, and ability to engage complex ideas.

She brings a rare balance of expertise, empathy and practical insight. Her ability to mentor with both clarity and care makes her an invaluable coach, collaborator, and leader within our school community.

Taylor is a program builder and academic architect. She designed and took on the leadership of creating a new course, Digital Music, as a brand-new, UC-approved VAPA course, demonstrating innovation, initiative, and a strong understanding of standards alignment.

I have worked with four different AP History teachers in her current position. I can honestly say I have seen Taylor's students more at ease and confident about their academic endeavors as a result of their experience with her.
